Uses in Tessellations
The isoarea closed square twist can be folded by precreasing a closed square twist on a square grid and then flipping every other pleat or by using only grid lines on a 45 degree grid.
It’s usually used in patterns with only isoarea closed square twists and the shapes between the isoarea square twists could also be seen as twists in their own right.
